Dr Aisha Bin Bishr is a leading expert in the field of smart cities and the director general of the Smart Dubai Office (SDO). In this role, she is responsible for implementing the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to make Dubai the happiest city on earth through the use of technology.
Dr Bin Bishr received her bachelor’s degree in computer science from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and her master’s and doctoral degrees in computer science from the University of Maryland.
