It’s almost the end of the year 2019. Soon organization and many others will be holding year end dinners, lunches, town hall meetings and quarterly and yearly reviews. What is very common at these events is to motivate people to focus on the next year and learn from years challenges. In this video i share what leaders and team managers should ask, say and tell their teams about the future and how to motivate and Inspire them rather than do a band aid approach of them feel better for an hour and then go back to what you were doing in the first place.

In this quick video, learn about the 5 areas of thought that you should talk about and what to do when motivating people for Sales Kick Off or year end events.

As the Year-End meeting is coming to a close, it’s important to know how to motivate your time to lead them to success. It’s all about being the kind of leader that knows exactly how to integrate that motivation in your team. Being an effective leader isn’t just about having the set of skills to innovate to be successful. Rather, behind every effective leader is the capability of the leader to push their team towards their best potential. The following are a set of steps to integrate that motivation in your team:

Success is a process. What a lot of people fail to realize is that it isn’t an overnight process. Success is all about the dedication and perseverance that you have, and this includes the decisions you make in your every life. You can’t just enter a job and suddenly be an expert on it from day 1. The road to success is a continuous process.

In order to motivate your team, you must start with their mindset. Success is also about our everyday life choices, which means that there is power behind our healthy and our routines. Destructive and unhealthy habits are powerful in the sense that this can cause a ripple-effect in the . As an effective leader, it’s your job to get their mindset to align with their goal to success. They say the more you think about a certain goal that you want to achieve, the more that it’s going to happen. This is exactly how you should be able to inspire them. The more that they align their mindset into their goals, the more they’re going to align their everyday decisions with that goal.

You have to know you want to win. Success isn’t all just about power, money and reputation. When you say success, you have to know the whys in order to know the hows. In order to be successful, you have to know the impact it does for both yourself and for others. If you know the reason behind it, everything else follows. Knowing what moves you to the road of success other than external factors is a significant way to win.

You have to support your team, in every part of the process. One of the most valuable things you can do for your team is to just be there for them and be their support. This is your role as an efficient leader, to be both their inspiration and their guide in becoming the best version of themselves.

You shouldn’t give your team false hope. Be real to them about your expectations on them, on the company and on yourself. You have to be transparent to your team about your own goals, so that they can be transparent to you about theirs as well. Giving them a false sense of hope is the worst thing you can do, because it leads to a road of hopelessness and disappointment.

Lastly, give them every reason to believe on why they’re enough. Someone believing in their potential is sometimes all it takes to push them to their goals. in this case, their leader believing in them is more than enough to push them in the right direction

What do you plan to do this year to change people’s mindset ?
