Google is amazing in being simplistic yet effective. In their short animated Story of Send, Google tells us what happens to an email after we click the send button.

From a Marketing prespective, Google is engaging the user in a story that first of all informs the user about something that we rarely think about. Their animated cartoons make things sound simple, yet we know that Google data centres, as an example, cost hundreds of millions of dollars and are very complex in operations. Google is also trying to advocate its Green initiatives and inform the general public about its initiatives and results. The series also brings in Brand value for Google by getting people to spend more time on a non search part of the site, thus building viewer loyalty through exposure and engagement.

Lesson Learnt : Simple campaigns can be effective in building your marketing & PR outreach,

Good Job Google !
